Production Operator

Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd and Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd form part of the Medichem group, a Spanish pharmaceutical organization which develops and manufactures both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms.

Medichem specialises in active pharmaceutical ingredients, while Combino Pharm is focused on solid oral generic pharmaceutical products. The organization provides high quality medicinal substances and products for the worldwide market, with special emphasis on Europe and the US.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join Combino in Malta, for the following Production Operator role:

Responsibilities and Functions:

· Ability to operate all production machinery and equipment given training on.

· Setting up and cleaning the machinery and equipment.

· Transforming raw materials into finished product at any stage trained for.

· Documenting the process steps performed on relative documentation in a clear and legible way which reflects the process execution.

· Following the requirements from the relevant documentation (e.g. SOPs, PRs, Master Batch, BMRs, logbooks, etc).

· Labelling adequately the product in the process as stated by procedures.

· Informing superiors of any incidents observed in the written procedures.

· Performing sampling operations as trained and qualified.

· Cleaning down process rooms, machinery, tools, equipment and ancillaries as stated by written methods and document these operations in the relative documentation while cooperating with other operators in cleaning operations as requested.

· Participating in clean downs of the manufacturing facility.

· Adhering to H&S regulations at all times and ensure the proper use of the PPE given by the company as described in procedures and manufacturing instructions.

Requirements:

· Minimum in possession of a School Leaving Certificate.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

· Ideally have experience working in a GMP environment but not strictly a requirement.

· Good computer literacy and command of MS Office Applications.

· Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.

· Results oriented and will display an attitude that reflects our Company values.

· Able to work independently and in a team environment.

· Extremely organised.

· Willingness to work on a 4-shift basis.
