&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Overview&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Operate and maintain readymix concrete trucks to deliver high-quality concrete to construction sites safely, on time, and in accordance with instructions and regulations. Provide courteous customer service on site and support basic vehicle upkeep.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Drive and operate&lt;/strong&gt; readymix concrete truck safely on public roads and within sites, adhering to traffic laws and company safety procedures.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Load, mix, and discharge&lt;/strong&gt; concrete to specified mix designs and customer instructions, ensuring correct slump, consistency, and quantity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Plan and execute deliveries&lt;/strong&gt; to meet scheduled times, including route planning, time management, and communicating delays or issues to dispatch.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Site coordination&lt;/strong&gt;: liaise with site personnel to determine delivery location, placement requirements, and access constraints; assist with chutes and pumps as required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Perform pre- and post-trip inspections&lt;/strong&gt; and basic vehicle checks (fluids, lights, tires, brakes); report defects and safety concerns promptly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance&lt;/strong&gt; of the vehicle and equipment (wash drum, grease points, minor adjustments) or escalate to maintenance team when needed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Recordkeeping and paperwork&lt;/strong&gt;: complete delivery tickets, timesheets, and incident/maintenance reports accurately.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Adhere to safety and compliance&lt;/strong&gt;: follow PPE requirements, safe lifting/manual handling practices, HSE regulations, and waste/disposal rules.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Provide professional customer service&lt;/strong&gt;, representing the company courteously to clients, site managers, and colleagues.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills and Qualifications&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Valid heavy vehicle driving license C appropriate for operating trucks in Malta.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Entry-level experience driving heavy goods vehicles preferred; experience with readymix operations is an advantage but not mandatory.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine vehicle checks and simple maintenance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Knowledge of road safety rules and safe site working practices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Good time management and ability to work to schedules under pressure.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Basic literacy and numeracy to complete delivery paperwork and follow mix instructions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Communication skills in English and Maltese at a functional level to interact with dispatch and site personnel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Physically fit, able to perform manual handling and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Willingness to work onsite, including early starts, variable hours, and occasional overtime as required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
