Role Overview

Heroix, in collaboration with our Client, is seeking a Regulatory Manager in the Financial sector. This role involves managing the preparation and submission of various regulatory returns, responding to regulatory inquiries, supervising junior team members, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards. The position demands staying updated on new regulatory requirements and supporting senior management with necessary reports.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory returns such as BR/06, FINREP, COREP, Central Credit Register, Anacredit, Real Estate Survey, Bank Lending Survey, and UK reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Regulatory Inquiries:

• Address queries from various regulatory bodies effectively and promptly.

Team Supervision:

• Supervise the work of junior regulatory team members to maintain high-quality standards.

Compliance Monitoring:

• Track financial and regulatory indicators to ensure ongoing compliance with all requirements.

Management Support:

• Assist the Head of Unit and Head of Department with additional tasks as needed.

Regulatory Updates:

• Stay informed about new regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the company.

Report Compilation:

• Prepare and review reports for senior management and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Educational Background:

• Hold a Degree or Diploma in Accounts, Economics, Financial Services, Business Management, or Banking and Finance.

Relevant Experience:

• Have a minimum of 6 years' experience in regulatory roles.

Technical Proficiency:

• Exhibit excellent skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Work Approach:

• Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Analytical Skills:

• Possess strong analytical capabilities.

System Knowledge:

• Ideally, be familiar with BRSAnalytics reporting system.

Organisational Skills:

• Exhibit exceptional organisational abilities.
