Eurosport, specialists and market leaders in sports retail, are recruiting for the position of Sales Assistant on a full-time basis for our retail outlets in Malta. The ideal candidate is outgoing and welcoming, always with a smile and acting as the main point of contact between the company and our esteemed customers. It is imperative that applicants are smart, well-groomed, hardworking, and passionate about our brands.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments and payment systems.
• Sales Support: Assist in restocking shelves, organising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product details and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Communicate well in English or Maltese.
• Be attentive to detail and accurate in handling cash and processing transactions.
• Be computer literate and willing to learn.
• Have good collaborative and teamwork skills.
• Be able to work on their own initiative.
• Have flexibility and availability to work varied hours, including afternoons/evenings, weekends and holidays.
Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
