SALES EXECUTIVE (RETAIL INDUSTRY)

About Us

Practical Trading Co. Ltd. is an established importer and distributor of high-quality European brands, specialising in ice cream, sports nutrition, yoghurts, frozen foods, mineral water, extra virgin olive oil and other premium products.

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and results-driven Sales Executive – Retail Industry to join our growing sales team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our product portfolio, developing strong relationships with retail customers and identifying new opportunities to grow our presence across Malta.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential retail customers.
• Promote and sell our range of food and beverage products.
• Visit retail outlets regularly to monitor stock levels, product availability and promotional activities.
• Ensure strong product visibility and merchandising standards in stores.
• Identify new business opportunities and gather market feedback.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
• Coordinate with our logistics and support teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the retail sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an advantage.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel, email and sales applications.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A clean, valid driving licence.
• A professional, positive and customer-focused attitude.
