Role Overview
The Senior Back End Developer will join a team of skilled IT professionals, focusing on the development of server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. This role involves working on fintech innovations, developing wealth management software, core banking systems, and client-facing platforms. The position is based in Malta with available relocation packages.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain: Work on our code base and core libraries using .NET Core and C#.
Code reviews: Participate actively to enhance product quality.
Research: Explore new technologies relevant to our Client's work.
Standardisation: Assist in standardising processes across the company.
Quality assurance: Ensure applications meet established quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all work.
Collaboration: Work with various teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
Troubleshooting: Address and resolve production issues in collaboration with other departments.
Additional tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Continuous learning: Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new programming languages.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in software development, particularly with .NET.
Industry background: Experience in banking/financial services is a plus but not required.
Technical skills: Proficient with IOC/DI patterns (Autofac), building distributed applications using microservices, ORM systems (Entity Framework 6), and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Bonus knowledge: Familiarity with NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB), CQRS pattern, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Soft skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Work ethic: Ability to work independently or within a group.
