Role Overview
Our Client is seeking an accomplished and imaginative Senior Graphic Designer to join its Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling visual communications that strengthen the Business's brand presence across both online and offline channels. The position offers considerable variety, covering corporate publications, promotional campaigns, social media, events, digital content and multimedia projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Design: Produce polished visual materials for a variety of marketing purposes, including corporate publications, presentation decks, promotional initiatives and event-related content.

• Brand Management: Apply the Business's visual standards consistently across marketing materials and communication channels, maintaining a professional and recognisable brand image.

• Campaign Creativity: Work closely with the Marketing team to develop fresh visual concepts for promotional activities, social media initiatives and company events.

• Corporate Communications: Create visual material for communications aimed at both employees and external audiences, including digital banners, invitations and event displays.

• Digital Content: Prepare, refine and optimise imagery and other creative assets for use across websites, social media and additional digital platforms.

• Website Design Support: Contribute to the visual presentation of website content, including graphical elements and user-interface components.

• Marketing Initiatives: Provide hands-on creative assistance for marketing projects, promotional activities and events as required.

• Supplier Coordination: Work with printing companies and other external creative suppliers to ensure completed materials meet the required visual and production standards.

• Multimedia Content: Support the creation and editing of video and other multimedia material where required.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• Education: A qualification in Graphic Design or another closely related creative discipline is required.

• Experience: Previous professional experience within graphic design is essential, with the ability to manage varied creative assignments to a high standard.

• Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both English and Maltese is required for this position.

• Communication Skills: Able to understand creative briefs, communicate design concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues and external service providers.

• Interpersonal Skills: A cooperative and approachable professional who enjoys contributing within a multidisciplinary team.

• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, together with experience using Canva and other relevant creative platforms. Video editing capabilities would be advantageous, while familiarity with website development principles and SEO tools would also be beneficial.

• Attention to Detail: Possesses a strong visual eye and consistently delivers accurate, refined and professionally presented creative work.

• Organisation: Capable of prioritising multiple assignments, managing competing deadlines and maintaining quality in a busy marketing environment.

• Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative, creative curiosity and a willingness to develop new skills while taking ownership of assigned projects.

• Problem-Solving: Able to translate marketing requirements into effective visual solutions and respond constructively when priorities or creative requirements change.
