About This Job

We're looking for a proactive and reliable Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team at Eden Leisure Group.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular preventative maintenance including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems, identifying root causes, replacing, or repairing parts, testing, making adjustments and implementing effective solutions.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and interruptions.
  • Inspecting electrical systems, components, and equipment for safety, functionality, and compliance with specifications. Install, configure and calibrate new equipment when needed.
  • Complying with Safety regulations, protocols and procedures and maintain clean and orderly work areas to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Reviewing wiring Diagram, blueprints and other technical documents to determine electrical requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects.
  • Offering Support on technical matters with a degree of complexity and assisting the maintenance team in the resolution of these matters.
  • Keeping up to date with advancements in electrical technology, regulations and best practices.
  • Any other duties with regards to preventive or reactive maintenance which may be requested by the employer from time to time

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance role,
  • Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (MQF Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations and best practices in a maintenance environment.
  • Possession of a valid Electrical License from Malta.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Maltese is an asset.
  • Valid driving license
