Position; Senior Marine Surveyor

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fluency in Maltese and English, with excellent technical English report writing skills.
• Chief or Second Engineer CoC STCW, or a degree in Marine Engineering and/or Naval Architecture.
• Solid understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL, IMDG, IMO, MLC, and ISPS codes and maritime regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marine Surveyor or in a similar position. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Drydocking and/or Superintendence, possessing strong knowledge in Hull & Machinery.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the company, including job scheduling and overseeing surveyor assignments.
• Provide consultancy and assistance to clients and surveyors as required.
• Conduct comprehensive surveys on a diverse range of Vessels, Superyachts, and Yachts, both commercial and private. This includes hull & machinery inspections, statutory certification, cargo assessments, insurance claims, P&I surveys, Yachts & Superyachts new building overseeing & consultancy and Project Management - both locally and internationally.
• This Maritime position requires availability for irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, both locally and abroad, as required.
