Senior Project Manager – Site Operations

Role Purpose

To take a leading role in the execution of our large-scale finishing projects. Responsible for the overall site operation and performance, leading our Site Supervisors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the highest quality standards.

This is a key leadership position for an individual who wants to play a significant role in the successful delivery of major projects and the development of our project execution team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and manage Site Supervisors across multiple large-scale projects.
• Take overall responsibility for site execution quality, productivity and progress.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with programme, drawings, specifications and company standards.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, resources and site activities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety and programme performance.
• Identify potential delays and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with clients, main contractors, consultants and other trades.
• Ensure effective sequencing and coordination of finishing activities.
• Lead project mobilization, execution, snagging and handover.
• Develop and mentor Site Supervisors and site teams.
• Provide clear reporting, coordination and escalation.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• A qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related field is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the Maltese language and an EU Driving license are compulsory for this role.
• Proven experience in senior site/project management within construction.
• Experience managing multiple sites and teams.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction programmes, site operations and finishing works.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex project environments.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• A hands-on, results-driven approach.
• Experience with a finishing contractor or large-scale interior construction projects will be considered a strong advantage
