We’re Hiring: Storekeeper
📍 Location: Grands Suites Hotel, Residences & Spa – Gzira, Malta
🕒 Full-Time | On-site | Flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays)
Are you organised, reliable, and detail-oriented? Join our team as a Storekeeper, where you'll be responsible for managing incoming stock, ensuring efficient inventory control, and supporting smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming stock for quality and quantity.
- Organise, label, and store goods neatly and safely.
- Issue supplies to departments using the FIFO method.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records using inventory systems or manual logs.
- Keep storage areas clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
- Assist with periodic stock counts and reconcile with system records.
- Coordinate deliveries, returns, and communicate with suppliers.
- Dispose of expired or damaged goods per hotel procedures.
- Handle perishable items according to food safety standards.
- Liaise with other departments to meet stock needs.
- Load/unload deliveries and perform manual handling tasks when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Highly organised, responsible, and reliable.
- Good physical condition with manual handling awareness.
- Experience with inventory systems and stock procedures.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, POS, inventory software).
- Valid EU driving licence is required.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (especially for food and chemicals).
- Familiarity with F&B items is an asset (e.g., pork, Chardonnay, Merlot, etc.).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
