Role Overview

The Tax Accountant will play a pivotal role within the company's tax team, handling a portfolio of international clients and contributing to various tax-related activities. Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Preparation of VAT returns and tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
• Client Management: Manage and maintain relationships with a designated portfolio of clients, ensuring their tax affairs are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the department's procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Advisory Support: Assist in the preparation of tax and VAT advisory work, providing valuable insights and support to clients.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• Professional Qualification: Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Experience: A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in accounting or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, efficient, and a team player.
