Role Overview
As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be a key contributor to delivering high-quality IT support and solutions to the company's diverse client base. This hands-on role involves resolving complex technical issues, managing IT systems, and collaborating with a motivated team to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable IT support to clients both remotely and on-site.
- Install, configure, and maintain systems such as Cisco firmware, setups using Fortinet technologies, VLANs, VPNs, and Microsoft platforms.
- Optimize and manage databases to ensure seamless performance.
- Collaborate with the team to meet client needs and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and consistently deliver outstanding service.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in an IT services environment.
- Certifications: Possession of a degree in IT or a related field would be considered an advantage. Proficiency or certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), and Microsoft systems is critical. FCSS, or other Fortinet based certifications will be a great asset for this role. Interest in pursuing such certifications would be encouraged and supported.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise in Cisco firmware, VLANs, VPNs, even possibly FortiGate firewalls, as well as database management.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt between on-site and office-based work environments.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative setting.
