Tiler & Wet Trades Operative

We are looking for an experienced tradesperson to join our team, carrying out tiling, plastering and general wet trades across our construction and finishing projects.

Main duties

• Lay floor and wall tiles, including setting out, cutting, grouting and finishing.
• Prepare and level surfaces before tiling or plastering.
• Carry out internal plastering, external rendering and patch repairs.
• Install floor screeds, including forming falls towards drains.
• Carry out minor concrete works, including mixing, placing and finishing.
• Apply waterproofing systems in bathrooms, terraces and other wet areas.
• Complete minor masonry works and make good around services.
• Follow drawings and site instructions, maintain quality standards and keep the work area clean and safe.

Requirements

• Proven practical experience in tiling, plastering and general wet trades.
• Ability to work independently and produce neat, accurate finishes.
• Good understanding of levels, falls, setting out and material preparation.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
• A driving licence would be an asset.
