Summary of the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tradesman to join the Lift Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems, working with specialised tools and equipment in various environments. This role demands technical proficiency, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair elevator systems using specialised tools and equipment.
- Perform work in confined spaces and at heights, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with coordinators and managers to ensure systems run reliably and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and quality in all tasks.
- Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently while minimising downtime.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a tradesman, preferably in elevator systems or similar machinery.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals is an asset.
Other Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Expected Start Date: ASAP
- Salary: Based on candidate experience and skill level
