Travel Designer / Planner with Exclusively Malta Luxury Travel Ltd.
Location: Malta (work from home; MUST live in Malta or Gozo)
Salary Range for this position: 25K - 35K gross annually (commensurate with experience)

JOB SUMMARY
As a Travel Designer/Planner, you will be the primary creative and consultative force behind our clients trips. You will lead discovery, design tailor made itineraries, and coordinate with our operations team, supplier partners, agents and clients to deliver seamless experiences from proposal to post trip follow up. You'll balance creativity with thoughtfullnesss while managing logistics, budgets, and timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary client contact hosting discovery calls, setting expectations, and providing timely, professional communication.
- Design bespoke itineraries that reflect our brand standards, incorporating creative, personalized elements and value adds that elevate the experience.
- Prepare clear proposals, quotes, and option sets; manage revisions and approvals efficiently.
- Coordinate closely with operations to confirm logistics (bookings, transport, accommodations, activities) and ensure flawless execution.
- Oversee real time program delivery in partnership with operations to resolve issues, address last minute changes and improve the experience.
- Conduct post trip follow ups and capture feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within a Culture or Tourism related company such as a Maltese based Destination Management Company (DMC) or a graduating student from ITS or UofM (required).
- Knowledge of Malta s culture, history, attractions, and luxury offerings (highly desirable).
- Candidates must be energetic, confident, and comfortable interacting with clients face-to-face, delivering exceptional service with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication; professional client presence.
- Fluency in English required; Maltese is an advantage.
- Meticulous organization with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Comfort with productivity tools (Google Workspace).
- Based in Malta or Gozo; remote/home office setup.
- Must be flexible and willing to work irregular hours, when required, to meet the needs of our clients who are in Malta.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Work from home culture with a high trust, creative environment.
- Company mobile phone. Full time (40 hours/week, Monday Friday) with occasional weekends based on in country client needs.
- 6 month probation period.
- Annual leave: based on a 40 hour week, per Maltese legislation. Sick leave: up to 10 days with medical certificate.
