Visions and Integrated Systems Expert

De La Rue is growing and we are looking for a Visions and Integrated Systems Expert to join our team.

Main Responsibilities include:

Individual

• Implement and maintain automatic inspection software and hardware for quality inspection in the printing processes.
• Build adaptation models and assist Quality Control in the creation of training sets and/or other materials.
• Maintain data and generate information for investigation, analysis and customer required manifest.
• Analyse data collected from vision systems to identify bottlenecks in production and areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute testing protocols to validate system performance and accuracy in real-time environments.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vision technology to continually enhance system capabilities to improve performance and reliability of such systems.
• Support NPI and R&D trial requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of existing integrated systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify system requirements and specifications.
• Provide technical support and training to employees on the use and maintenance of vision systems.
• Proactively communicate daily issues and progress of longer-term projects.
• OEE, RFT and OTIF Targets.

Divisional Currency

• Support the Divisional leadership team, executing the strategy for Currency in terms of the Central Bank and Security Features/Polymer propositions
• Provide subject matter expertise to support effective decision making and to provide input as required to the annual strategic planning cycle
• Support and follow the governance and operational disciplines applicable across the division
