JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

The Beauty Advisor is responsible for developing sales to meet daily, weekly, and monthly business objectives. This role involves delivering a highly qualitative customer service and experience, adhering to L’OCCI-Way principles, and maintaining high standards in store operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • SALES DEVELOPMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

· Sales Objectives: Achieve sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

· Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

· Omnichannel Sales: Generate additional sales through a fully integrated omnichannel mindset, leveraging existing channels (website, B2B, Spa) and proactive social selling (Clientelling, BA influencer, Personal Shopper).

  • CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND SALES

· Engagement: Greet and engage customers authentically, creating genuine connections.

· Consultations: Conduct personalised consultations to assess customer needs and recommend suitable products and routines, enhancing UPT/ATV.

· Product Demonstrations: Encourage customers to test products in-store, performing indulgent rituals and demonstrations to create memorable experiences.

· Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell, highlighting best sellers in a customer-centric manner.

· Customer Loyalty: Foster customer loyalty by promoting the VIP programme, explaining current promotions, and offering samples and additional services.

· Personalised Relationships: Develop personalised relationships through a Clientelling approach, including sample follow-ups, birthday wishes, and replenishment of favourite products.

  • STORE OPERATIONS

· Daily Operations: Participate in daily store operations, including stock replenishment, ensuring the store and backroom are always pristine, arranging gift compositions, applying merchandising recommendations, and handling the cash register.

· Store Maintenance: Confidently open and close the store, maintaining operational efficiency.

  • SELF-DEVELOPMENT

· Training and Coaching: Attend L’OCCITANE training and coaching sessions, completing the My True Story Digital Training modules.

· Knowledge Development: Proactively develop expertise in L’OCCITANE’s skin care, fragrance, and hair care products, understanding their benefits, ingredients, and actions.

· Best Practices: Share best practices with peers, striving to achieve both individual and collective objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Strong customer service and sales skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficiency in English.

· Ability to engage and connect with customers authentically.

· Proficiency in handling store operations, including stock management and cash register handling.

· Commitment to ongoing learning and development.

  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience in beauty retail or a similar customer-facing role.

· Familiarity with L’OCCITANE products and the L’OCCI-Way principles.
