JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

As a Buyer Assistant for Bluerock Operations, your role revolves around supporting the development of the product proposition and providing crucial administrative assistance to the Buyer team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring departmental strategy execution through efficient management of sales reports, critical paths, and sample coordination.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and distribute weekly sales reports, preparing visual presentations of Best Sellers.
  • Manage article creation and maintenance, ensuring accurate setups for all orders.
  • Coordinate with accurately set up new suppliers.
  • Keep the shop floor updated on deliveries and new launches.
  • Maintain regular contact with Visual Merchandising, providing relevant information for specific promotional activities and ensuring proper product presentation.
  • Keep the office organized, implementing filing systems, and maintaining a tidy and presentable workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Excellent administration and time management skills, accustomed to working at a fast pace and meeting key deadlines.
  • Buying or Merchandising qualification preferred, or relevant experience with a desire to pursue a career in Buying.
  • Strong PC literacy, including ability in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective prioritization skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
