Responsible for promoting and selling high-powered, intense and prestigious events, including gala awards, meetings, incentives, conferences, summits, seminars, business breakfasts, weddings and private functions, anniversaries, team-building events, boat and yacht parties. 

Also catering for overseas weddings in UK, with splendid medieval castle setting and Sicily/Italy, including unique, scenic and unforgettable amazing locations!

We are one of Malta's leading events company, seeking a talented Event Sales Executive to join their growing team. Working closely with the events management and production team, the main purpose of the role is to drive sales, awareness and revenue for the company's innovative venue spaces and unique events.

THE ROLE:

  • Sales: Pitching event spaces or packages (like corporate meetings, gala dinners, weddings, or summits) to senior decision-makers.
  • Business Development: Finding new sales leads, building long-term corporate partnerships, and growing market share.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively sourcing new leads and selling to senior-level decision-makers.
  • Account Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Promotion: Working with marketing teams on promotional campaigns, public awareness, and special event packages.
  • Coordination: Overseeing bookings from the first customer call through to on-site support during the actual event.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL:

  • Have experience working in a targeted sales environment, ideally with some events or venue experience.
  • Preferably have a background in B2B sales, hospitality or event management.
  • Be a hunter – passionate, driven and hungry for new business.
  • Possess strong communication, networking, negotiation and lead-generation skills.
  • Be well educated, fluent in English and comfortable with networking, policy and decision-making.
  • Hold a clean driving licence and own a car.
