As one of the key members of a growing data function, you will collaborate with a close-knit team of Data Stewards, Data Analysts and Data Scientists who are passionate about improving data quality and unlocking business value. The smaller team structure provides greater visibility, encourages knowledge sharing and gives you the opportunity to influence decisions, establish best practices and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

This newly created position offers the chance to design and implement the organisation's data governance strategy from the ground up. Rather than maintaining an established framework, you will define policies, standards and processes that shape how data is managed across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will champion governance initiatives, strengthen data quality and help embed a data-driven mindset throughout the organisation. Exposure to modern governance technologies, including Microsoft Purview, will further enhance your expertise while positioning you as a key driver of the company's evolving data strategy.

You will:

• Develop the enterprise data governance strategy
• Establish governance policies and data standards
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders
• Drive data quality and governance adoption

Skills and Experience

• 5–7 years' experience in Data Governance, including designing and implementing governance frameworks within complex organisations.
• Previous experience in Data Analytics, with the ability to translate business needs into effective data governance practices and engage senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview is advantageous, alongside a strong understanding of data management, governance principles and regulatory requirements.

Salary / Remuneration: €50,000 - €52,000 + benefits
