&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;JOB PURPOSE&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Distribution and Cold Store Executive reports directly to the Distribution and Cold Store Manager. The focus of the role is ensuring a smooth operation within the supply chain, warehousing of products, deliveries and returns.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Developing efficient driver schedules by using software&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Analyse data to assess performance, discover logistical problems, and devise improvement plans.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Assist in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Coordinate distribution operations, in collaboration with cold stores.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. Lead monthly distributors&#039; meetings to advise of new products or packaging.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Be the sole point of contact between distributors for the sales and marketing functions of MDP.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;9. Advise and control all company policies that distributors are bound to by the company.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;10. Providing weekly reports as may be required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;11. Ensure that distributors&#039; contracts are adhered to and identify any shortfall in sales.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;12. Inspect distributors&#039; trucks to ensure they are clean, and temperatures are in line.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;13. Daily stock control and forecasting for all product lines.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;14. Be the point of contact for clients, such as retail shops, catering industries and hotel chains.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;15. Any other duties as may be required from time to time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Must have 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role in the fast-moving consumer goods market.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Be IT literate, especially in Excel, and have working experience in an ERP System&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Possess excellent reporting and communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Be in possession of a valid driving license.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Drive for results.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Analytical thinking.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. Excellent organizational and reporting skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Can-do, positive attitude.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;9. Interpersonal skills to work in a team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;10. Rigorous attention to detail.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
