About This Job

We are looking for a professional, approachable and confident Employee Relations Coordinator to join our team.

With a large and diverse outsourced workforce, this role will act as a key point of contact for employees, handling day-to-day concerns, workplace issues and operational queries while ensuring matters are properly assessed, documented and communicated to the relevant Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a first point of contact for employees visiting or contacting the office with workplace concerns or queries
  • Listen to, assess and document employee issues in a professional and impartial manner
  • Handle employee concerns and resolve matters directly where appropriate
  • Investigate situations by gathering the relevant facts before reaching conclusions or escalating matters
  • Handle and follow up on client complaints or feedback relating to employees
  • Coordinate with the Operations team on matters requiring operational action or intervention
  • Maintain clear records and provide accurate reports and updates on cases
  • Follow up on open cases to ensure matters are properly addressed and closed
  • Communicate professionally with employees from different nationalities, backgrounds and cultures
  • Handle difficult or sensitive conversations calmly and professionally
  • Identify recurring employee issues or trends and report them to management

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Previous experience in employee relations, HR, customer care, operations or another people-facing role will be considered an asset
  • Ability to deal confidently and respectfully with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Able to remain impartial and assess situations based on facts
  • Patient, approachable and a good listener, while still being firm when required
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
  • Able to multitask and manage several employee cases simultaneously
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Able to handle information with appropriate confidentiality and discretion

This role is ideal for someone who is people-oriented but also solution-driven -someone who can listen, understand the situation, establish the facts and ensure the right action is taken.
