In-Store Staff

Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for individuals to fill the vacant position of Shop Assistant in our Miracle Foods outlet in Gozo. The selected candidate will need to be fully flexible as shift patterns will vary over the week, including weekends.

Main duties include but not limited to:

1) Ensure that customers are attended to with their queries in a timely fashion and with a with a service driven positive approach, maintaining a customer-centric attitude.

2) Friendly approach towards customers, supervisors and colleagues.

3) Drive sales by active cross selling and promoting the company ongoing offers.

4) Keeping proper merchandising of stock in an organised manner, cleanliness throughout the outlet and maintaining company standards.

5) Ensuring that shelves are well stocked regularly without any gaps.

6) Periodic checks of freshness/date checks and stock rotation in accordance with company quality standards.

7) Manage and conduct work activities in such a way to ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all colleagues and customers.

8) Attends training programs as instructed by the company, during or outside office hours.

9) Strict adherence to company confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements:

1) Knowledge and experience in the Food or Retail Industry business.

2) A high sense of commitment and work ethic.

3) Self-motivated, well-organised, good communication and inter-personal skills.

4) Able to work on own initiative and making decisions that reflect the company’s values.

5) Excellent time-management and business acumen.

6) Speaks fluent English and Maltese.

7) Driving Licence B is a must.
