
About This Job
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Legal team in its day-to-day legal tasks.
• Carrying out legal research on legislation, regulations, and case law as required.
• Following developments in legislation and analysing new laws and judicial decisions.
• Preparing legal documentation and assisting in the review of agreements and contracts.
• Communicating with various departments and stakeholders across the business.
• Maintaining and organising legal files and documentation.
• Assisting in ensuring that legal records and filing systems remain accurate and up to date.
• Developing knowledge and expertise in transport, employment, commercial, competition, and corporate law matters.
• Supporting the Legal team in projects and initiatives as required.
• Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time.
Requirements:
• Completed first year of a Law course.
• Basic office management knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a professional environment.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Good legal writing and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The following will be considered an asset:
• Previous internship or work experience in a legal or administrative environment.
• Interest in transport, employment, commercial, competition, or corporate law.
• Familiarity with legal research tools and databases.
