Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the marketing activities of Quintano Foods’ portfolio of brands. The role involves developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, support sales growth, drive customer engagement and build brand equity and brand loyalty. The marketing manager plays a key role in understanding the market requirements and contributing to the shaping of the company’s marketing strategy
The role ensures that strategic initiatives translate into tangible business results. The successful candidate will work hand in hand with Sales, oversee BTL and ATL marketing, own in-store execution, drive digital marketing, be the primary source of market intelligence and manage marketing budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive sales through consumer demand, customer engagement, brand growth and overall visibility.
- Manage the marketing of Quintano Foods' portfolio of brands, ensuring consistent brand positioning and strong market presence. Contribute to portfolio expansion, new product launches, portfolio rationalisation.
- Create and implement marketing campaign calendars and forecasts. Track campaign performance based on data, consumer behaviour and market dynamics to drive learning and continuous improvement.
- Strategically develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital, social, in-store activations, media, trade marketing, promotions, events, PR, sponsorships and ATL.
- Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, competitor activities, pricing, and category developments to identify growth opportunities and support business decisions.
- Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives and business priorities.
- Lead and develop the Merchandising team, ensuring excellent in-store execution, compliance with merchandising standards, and strong promotional visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, suppliers, principals, and external partners to support growth and collaboration.
- Conduct regular market and store visits to assess execution standards, identify opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while fostering a culture of positivity, ownership, accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, brand management, trade marketing, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven experience managing marketing campaigns, budgets, and brand performance.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, and understanding of consumer behaviour.
