Graphic Design and Creative Production
Design marketing materials for social media, digital advertising, email, print, presentations, internal
communications, events and sponsorships, working within agreed briefs and brand guidelines.
Adapt designs across platforms, dimensions and formats while maintaining quality, consistency and
readability.
Produce and edit short-form videos, reels and simple motion graphics for digital channels.

approved final version.
Social Media Management and Content Creation
Maintain and deliver the social media content calendar in line with priorities agreed with the line manager.
Create platform-appropriate content combining strong visuals, clear copy and relevant calls to action, and
schedule and publish approved posts, stories and reels.
Monitor comments, messages and brand mentions, responding within approved guidance and escalating
sensitive matters promptly. Questions about products, insurance cover, pricing or claims are always
referred to the appropriate department.
Review social media performance and content trends, and recommend improvements to formats, timing
and engagement.
Digital Advertising Support
Prepare creative variations and campaign copy for paid social and search campaigns within approved
briefs.
Support the line manager in building, checking and monitoring campaigns, flagging delivery or spend issues
early.
Email Marketing
Build and test email campaigns and automated communications using the company’s existing platforms.
Check copy, design, links, display across devices and recipient selections before release.
Refer any proposed segmentation involving health information to the line manager and do not create or
apply it independently.
Performance Reporting
Gather social media, email and advertising data for scheduled reports using agreed templates, checking
accuracy and flagging unusual results.
Share observations and practical suggestions for improving future content and campaigns.
Brand, Asset and Approval Management
Apply brand guidelines consistently across all communications and materials.
Maintain an organised asset library with clear file names and version control, and archive superseded
materials so they are not used by mistake.
Verify product-related statements against current approved documentation, follow the required approval
process before anything is published, and retain the approval records.
Identify outdated website content or website issues and arrange their correction with the line manager.
Handle confidential information, customer data and access credentials in accordance with company
procedures.
Events, Print and Sponsorship Support
Prepare artwork and branded materials for events and sponsorships, liaising with approved printers and
suppliers on specifications, proofs and delivery timelines.
Provide on-site marketing support at company events when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
A qualification in marketing, graphic design, communications, digital media or a related discipline, or an
equivalent portfolio and practical track record.
One to three years of relevant experience in design, content creation or social media management.
Candidates with less experience will be considered where supported by a strong portfolio.
A portfolio demonstrating sound graphic design skills and engaging content for different channels.
Strong practical proficiency in professional design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent.
Hands-on experience managing social media content, publishing schedules and community interactions.
Practical ability to produce and edit short-form video.
Excellent written English, with strong accuracy and proofreading skills.
Desirable
Fluency in written and spoken Maltese.
Experience supporting paid social or paid search campaigns.
Experience with email marketing or marketing-automation platforms.
Experience preparing print-ready artwork and working with production suppliers.
Ability to read basic marketing analytics and explain what the results indicate.
COMPETENCIES
Produces clear, purposeful designs with a sound understanding of layout, typography, colour, visual
hierarchy and brand consistency.
Understands how audiences use different platforms and adapts content, tone and format accordingly,
exercising good judgement in public interactions.
Communicates clearly and accurately, turning information into accessible messages without losing
essential meaning.
Organises multiple assignments, keeps orderly records and prioritises according to agreed deadlines.
Checks work carefully, recognises sensitive information and knows when something needs review or
escalation.
Takes direction well, seeks clarification when needed, and applies feedback constructively.
Is reliable, discreet and calm under pressure, and comfortable in a small team with varied responsibilities.
Is curious about customers, products and the business, and keen to learn beyond existing strengths.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Take responsibility for assigned work from brief to completion, keeping the line manager informed and
following up outstanding actions without reminders.
Complete routine work with progressively less supervision after induction, recognising that independence in
execution never replaces required approvals.
Raise unclear briefs, competing priorities or likely delays early, and where possible propose a workable
solution.
Submit work that is checked and ready for review, distinguishing personal creative preference from the
requirements of the brief.
Build knowledge of the company’s products and customers, keep design and social media skills current,
and support the team during busy periods.
