About This Job

Merchandiser Supervisor

Full-time

Be a force for good and thrive in a collaborative team that inspires you.

At Nestlé, we believe in the difference food can make in people's lives. Every day, our trusted brands reach homes, families and communities across Malta. As a Merchandising Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in bringing those brands to life at the point of purchase, ensuring shoppers can easily find, choose and enjoy the products they love.

This is an opportunity to lead a team, build trusted customer relationships, and make a visible impact on our business every day. You'll help shape the in-store experience for consumers while developing people, driving execution excellence and contributing to the success of some of the world's most loved brands.

A day in the life of a Merchandising Supervisor

No two days are exactly the same.

Your morning may begin by reviewing merchandising priorities and connecting with your team to align on promotions, product launches and execution plans. From there, you'll be out in the trade, visiting stores, coaching merchandisers in the field and working closely with store managers to ensure our brands are visible, available and represented at the highest standard.

Throughout the day, you'll:

  • Lead, coach and support a team of merchandisers to help them perform at their best.
  • Ensure promotional displays, planograms and point-of-sale materials are executed flawlessly.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and retail partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, availability and shopper experience.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing and other internal teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Analyse performance, solve challenges proactively and recommend improvements.
  • Support new product launches and promotional campaigns from planning through execution.

By the end of the day, you'll see the direct impact of your work through stronger execution, motivated teams and better experiences for shoppers and customers alike.

What will make you successful

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A people-focused leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise activities and manage multiple demands.
  • Customer-centric, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and FMCG environment.
  • Results-oriented, proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Someone who combines attention to detail with a broader commercial mindset.
  • Adaptable, flexible and willing to support the team wherever needed.
  • Fluent in both Maltese and English.

Experience within FMCG, merchandising, sales support or retail operations would be advantageous.
