RefPro Refrigeration LTD (BT Commercial’s subsidiary company) is seeking to recruit skilled individuals to join their Refrigeration Technician team on a full time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for refrigeration systems
- Responsible for the daily preparation of the parts and tools for each day’s activities.
- Complete work in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for time management of jobs scheduled each day.
- Performing repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, company instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Assisting with customers’ queries.
Requirements:
- Refrigeration Diploma and/or other relevant certifications
- 1+ year experience as a refrigeration technician, and willingness to continue education in the refrigeration field.
- Wireman licenses A & B would be considered an asset;
- Fluent, preferable in English and Maltese, both written and verbal
- Good hygiene and cleanliness are required at all times
- Maintain a clean vehicle and make the office aware of maintenance issues
- Valid driver’s license.
- Understanding of advanced principles of refrigeration.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work extended hours where necessary
- Ability to work in a Team and Individually.
- Work under pressure
The selected candidate will also be responsible for completing work orders as required and any additional duties as requested. Experience, & other certificates related to refrigeration work will be considered an asset. The chosen candidate will be given the necessary training.
