Bay Radio, part of Eden Leisure Group, is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager to lead its commercial sales team across 89.7 Bay, Bay Easy and Bay Digital.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic sales leader who can drive revenue growth, develop strong client relationships, and inspire a high-performing team. The successful candidate will oversee advertising sales across the Bay's radio and digital platforms, ensuring the achievement of commercial targets while identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across radio, digital, sponsorship, content, and integrated advertising solutions.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the Sales team to achieve individual and collective sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth across all Bay platforms.
- Work closely with senior management to review performance, analyze market trends, and adapt commercial strategies.
- Support the team in understanding client objectives and developing effective advertising solutions that deliver results.
- Participate in sales meetings and presentations with prospective and existing clients.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and client account plans.
- Negotiate commercial agreements that balance client needs with business objectives.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and follow-up.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports using the company's CRM and reporting systems.
- Stay informed of market developments, competitor activity, and emerging advertising trends.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or commercial management.
- Strong understanding of media, advertising, digital marketing, or related industries would be an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English and Maltese.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
