About This Job

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Coordinate recruitment processes, including screening candidates, arranging interviews, and supporting onboarding.

•Manage HR administration tasks such as employee engagements, terminations, work permits, ID cards, sick leave, and injury reporting.

•Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment legislation, and collective agreements.

•Act as the main HR point of contact for Engineering employees and management, providing guidance and support.

•Coordinate training and development initiatives based on departmental needs.

•Support employee welfare, engagement, performance management, and disciplinary processes.

•Organise team-building activities and employee events.

•Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.

•Prepare regular HR reports and support management with HR-related projects and initiatives.

•Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time.

Requirements:

•Minimum of two years’ working experience in an HR role.

•Ideally holds an A level standard of education.

•General knowledge of Maltese Employment law.

•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Spanish or Maltese.

•Ability to conduct interviews in a professional manner

•Knowledge and use of HRIS

•Makes effective and timely decisions.

•Builds positive relationships with others.

•Influences and negotiates effectively.

•Identifies issues and develops practical solutions.
