This is an excellent opportunity to join an established international technology organisation as a Senior Linux Engineer, allowing you to take ownership of complex, business-critical infrastructure supporting global operations. You will join an experienced infrastructure engineering team, collaborating closely with the Head of Infrastructure and international development teams, giving you the opportunity to become a key technical decision-maker within the department. This is far more than a traditional Linux Systems Administrator position, enabling you to expand your expertise across Linux, AWS, networking, PostgreSQL, security and infrastructure automation, while taking ownership of challenging technical projects.

As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to influence infrastructure improvements, support fellow engineers and contribute to the department's future direction, allowing you to develop your leadership capabilities while remaining technically hands-on.

You will:

• Take ownership of Linux infrastructure across on-premises data centres and AWS cloud environments
• Lead complex infrastructure troubleshooting across Linux, networking, databases and security.
• Drive automation and infrastructure improvements using Ansible, Bash and Python.
• Manage and optimise PostgreSQL databases, monitoring solutions and high-availability systems.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on deployments, infrastructure projects and technical improvements.
• Support and mentor fellow engineers, contributing to technical decisions and future infrastructure strategy.

Skills / Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering experience, with strong networking and troubleshooting expertise.
• Strong PostgreSQL database knowledge, infrastructure automation using Ansible, and experience across cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience in infrastructure security, scripting, and monitoring, with previous team leadership exposure considered a strong advantage.

Salary & Benefits: €60,000–€65,000 + Health Insurance, Hybrid Flexibility, Flexible Working Hours, International Exposure & Excellent Career Progression.
