This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Malta’s established financial organisations as a Senior Network & Cloud Engineer, allowing you to take genuine technical ownership within a large-scale, business-critical infrastructure environment.

You will join a large organisation, giving you the stability and scale of an established enterprise while enabling you to contribute directly to the continued development and modernisation of its network infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to make technical recommendations, contribute to architecture decisions and turn ideas into meaningful infrastructure improvements, allowing you to take greater technical ownership and accelerate your career to the next level.

You will gain broad hands-on exposure across Cisco routing and switching, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, data-centre networking, Azure, AWS and network security, enabling you to strengthen your expertise beyond traditional enterprise networking. Collaboration with Cybersecurity, Cloud, DevOps and Infrastructure specialists will also give you wider exposure to modern hybrid-cloud environments and complex technology projects.

You will:

• Take ownership of enterprise network infrastructure, routing, switching and connectivity.
• Contribute to the design and modernisation of Cisco, data-centre and campus network environments.
• Support and develop Azure, AWS and hybrid-cloud networking solutions.
• Strengthen network security across firewalls, VPNs and secure connectivity.
• Drive network improvement and transformation projects, giving you the opportunity to influence technical direction.
• Explore automation using Python, Ansible, APIs and Infrastructure as Code, enabling you to further modernise network operations.

Experience:

• 5+ years on experience across networking, Cisco routing & switching, BGP and OSPF.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, alongside exposure to cloud networking, firewalls or network security.
• Experience within complex environments such as banking, financial services, telecoms, gaming or large enterprise would be highly advantageous.

Salary & Benefits: €40,000 – €65,000 + Hybrid Working, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Pension Plan, Professional Grants & Additional Banking Benefits.
