Position overview
Responsible for efficient receipt, storage, issuing and control of stock to ensure smooth operations of the warehouse and timely support to production and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming goods: Receive, inspect and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes; report discrepancies or damages.
- Inventory control: Conduct regular cycle counts and full stocktakes, reconcile variances, and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare stock for dispatch according to instructions and schedules; ensure correct labeling and documentation.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records in inventory systems and physical logs; update stock movements promptly.
- Quality and safety compliance: Adhere to health & safety, customs and company procedures; report hazards and participate in safety audits.
- Continuous improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to optimize storage, picking efficiency and reduce wastage.
Skills and Qualifications
- Associate-level experience or equivalent in storekeeping, warehousing or logistics.
- Professional working proficiency in English; good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work onsite, reliably and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks; valid forklift/operator certification advantageous.
