Technical Support Agent

We are seeking to employ Full-time Technical Support Agent with a minimum National Diploma or similar qualification. Preference will be given to applicants having a Higher National Diploma and experience in this field.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with authorised service agents and repair partners.
• Follow up with agents regarding repair progress, part availability, and turnaround times.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary to customers via telephone, email or in our Customer Care Department.
• Continue to develop own technical skills and expertise in workshop technology sufficient and consistent with the needs of the department
• Responding to requests from the Supervisor/Servicing Manager
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Workshop Supervisor or those delegated by him

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing IT products including desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and other electronics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
• Customer-orientated with good interpersonal skills
• A highly organised and proactive individual
• Detail-orientated individual with strong drive to achieve work success
• An ability to work on his/her own initiative and also as part of a team
• Friendly, outgoing and flexible attitude
• Good products knowledge and in-depth view of future technologies
