&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;ins&gt;POSITION SUMMARY&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Tendering Quantity Surveying shall be responsible to prepare accurate estimates and pre-bid packages for construction projects and finishes (if required) and for analysis of actual project costs and labour productivity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;ins&gt;KEY RESPONSIBILITIES&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Review all the Tender documents upon receipt and determine the scope of works.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Prepare Tender presentations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Attend site visits.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Submit tender queries.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Prepare pre-qualification documents and bid documents.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Measuring and preparation of BOQs’ in case Lump Sum bids.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Accurately estimate labour, materials, equipment, subcontractor etc. required for construction projects.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Assist in the preparation of method statements, programme of works and other tender documents submissions as necessary.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Identify risk and opportunities of the project being tendered for.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Keep up to date with the local market.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Ensuring that relevant documents and financial offers are submitted before a bid deadline.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Analyse actual costs of executed projects and upkeep of cost and labour productivity library.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Other estimation &amp;amp; QS work as necessary.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;ins&gt;EDUCATION &amp;amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;ins&gt;COMPETENCIES&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Strong time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Ability to closely collaborate with other team members&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Capable to work to tight timeframes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Fluent in the usage of MS Office.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· High level of competency in the usage of Microsoft Projects and ACAD.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· E-Tender Submissions&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Knowledge and consciousness of health and safety procedures and requirements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;ins&gt;PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;· Working hours are those associated with full-time employment.&lt;/p&gt;
