About This Job
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver food products to customers, retail outlets, and other designated locations across Malta.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring products are handled correctly to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery documentation and ensure accurate records of deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the assigned truck.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company transportation procedures.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards during transportation.
- Report any vehicle issues, delivery delays, or incidents to the relevant supervisor.
- Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
Requirements
- Valid Category C driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Previous experience as a Truck Driver, preferably within the food distribution or logistics industry.
- Good knowledge of roads and delivery routes across Malta.
- Ability to load and unload goods when required.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
