About This Job

We are currently assisting our client, a leading healthcare provider in Malta, with the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the debtor ledger to ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Professionally communicate with clients to follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment-related matters.
  • Liaise with internal departments to verify billing accuracy and efficiently address client queries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all correspondence, collections activities, and transactions.
  • Prepare and present regular debtor reports, including ageing analysis and payment trend insights, for management review.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing credit control processes and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with reconciliations and other accounts receivable-related duties as required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Credit Control, Debt Recovery, or Accounts Receivable role.
  • Experience within a corporate, healthcare, or professional services environment will be considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with an excellent command of both written and spoken Maltese and English.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, client-oriented professional with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
