ASSISTANT OFFICER – ADMINISTRATION CEO’S OFFICE

Our client is seeking a reliable, proactive and organised individual to provide administrative and organisational support within the CEO’s Office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes and follow-up actions;
  • Managing correspondence, calls, records and filing systems;
  • Preparing and proofreading letters, reports and presentations;
  • Supporting travel, events and other logistical arrangements;
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders;
  • Monitoring deadlines and outstanding administrative matters;
  • Assisting with office supplies, procurement documentation, expense claims and requisitions; and
  • Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Eligibility requirements:

Applicants must hold a recognised Diploma at MQF Level 5, comprising at least 60 ECTS/ECVET credits, in Business Administration or another relevant area. Three years of relevant work experience will be considered an asset.

Applicants must also:

  • Be fluent in Maltese and English;
  • Possess strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office; and
  • Have a professional and service-oriented approach.

  • A performance bonus of up to 15% of the basic salary;
  • Flexible working hours, with working time available between 07:00 and 17:30 and core hours from 09:00 to 15:30;

Foreign qualifications must be supported by an MQRIC recognition statement. Higher-level qualifications will be accepted, provided they meet the relevant subject requirements.
