Associate – AML Compliance

Our client, a well-known regulatory compliance consultancy firm, is currently looking to recruit an Associate - AML Compliance.

The Associate – AML Compliance supports the organisation in delivering outsourced AML/CFT and related compliance services to clients. The role primarily involves assisting with AML/CFT monitoring, customer due diligence, screening, and risk assessments, while also supporting broader compliance activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• CDD and AML/CFT Support: Assist with the onboarding and ongoing review of corporate customers and individuals, including reviewing identification and verification documentation, conducting screening, identifying missing or inconsistent information and escalating potential issues or unusual indicators to senior team members.

• Risk Assessment Support: Assist with the preparation and periodic review of AML/CFT and compliance risk assessments by gathering relevant information, identifying gaps, documenting findings and preparing draft recommendations for senior review.

• Client Engagement Support: Support the team in managing client deliverables, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Compliance Reviews / Internal Audit Support: Participate in client compliance reviews and internal audits, prepare working papers, and follow up on remediation actions.

Requirements:

• Attention to Detail - Ability to review documents and identify inconsistencies.

• Analytical Skills - Comfortable interpreting regulations and assessing risks.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Proficiency with MS Office and compliance-related tools.

• A recognised qualification or certification in AML/CFT is preferred.
