Associate Lawyer - Corporate and Commercial

AIMS International is assisting one of our clients, a well established Law Firm in Malta, with recruiting an Associate Lawyer - Corporate and Commercial, with a particular focus on M&A transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Handling and assistance with M&A transactions including due diligence management, drafting or review of transaction documents and drafting or review and handling of completion documents;
• General legal commercial and corporate advisory work;
• Supporting the Corporate and Commercial team generally, under the direction of the Firm’s partners.

Requirements:

• Be fully warranted and have at least 2 years post-qualification experience (an LLM or similar masters degree in a relevant area will be considered favourably);
• Be able to work under pressure and is results-oriented;
• Be able to work in a team;
• Have excellent communication skills especially in English and Maltese, both verbal and written;
• Experience with corporate and commercial litigation will be considered favourably.
