Audit Executive/Senior Executive

AIMS International Malta is thrilled to be working with a our client operating within the financial services industry. They are looking to add both an Audit Executive and a Senior Audit Executive to their team. 

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Ensuring assignments are completed within budget, on time, and with the required resources.
• Briefing and overseeing staff on assignments, providing on-the-job training as needed, and liaising with senior client staff to ensure assignments are completed according to agreed terms.
• Ensuring that assignments adhere to the firm’s standard procedures.
• Identifying and resolving key audit issues and contentious items in consultation with clients.
• Attending and presenting findings to client audit committees and board meetings.
• Actively participating in the recruitment and mentoring of junior staff.
• Will report directly to the Audit Directors, Partners, or Managers.

• 3-5 years of experience in external audit.
• Accounting qualification from a university or ACCA.
• Preferably warranted.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Fluency in the English language, written and spoken is a prerequisite.
