Corporate & Financial Services Lawyers

Our client, a leading business law firm in Malta, is currently seeking to recruit Corporate & Financial Services Lawyers to join their dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a wide range of corporate, financial services, and banking-related matters, including company formation, regulatory licensing, governance, and structuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial and financial agreements.
• Support clients through M&A transactions, reorganisations, and corporate restructurings.
• Liaise with local and international regulatory authorities, including the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), on licensing, compliance, and other regulatory matters.
• Provide legal advice on compliance with corporate and financial legislation and guidance on best practices.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence exercises across multiple sectors.
• Work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver strategic legal solutions and maintain long-term business relationships.

Requirements:

• A warrant to practice law in Malta.
• A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in corporate, finance, or financial services law.
• Strong academic background in civil, corporate, and financial services law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in English.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle competing priorities effectively.
