Finance Manager

Our client, a leading company in the construction and finishing's sector, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the Directors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed management accounts.
• Execute month-end closing procedures and ensure timely completion.
• Record and post journal entries accurately.
• Process supplier payments and manage accounts payable.
• Calculate and submit VAT returns accurately.
• Assist and liaise with external auditors.
• Support in the developing and refining of finance-related procedures and policies.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Identify and recommend improvements to streamline financial processes.
• Provide monthly financial reports and analysis as requested by the Directors.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic financial planning activities.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA qualified.
• A minimum of 3 years local experience in Accounting or Auditing.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 audit firm would be considered a strong asset.
