Join a fast-paced production environment as a General Operator responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent operation of manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to maintain continuous production, adjusting settings and performing routine checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform setup and changeovers for production runs, including tool changes, calibration, and verification of production parameters.
- Conduct quality inspections of products and materials, identifying defects and taking corrective action or escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accurate production records including output, downtime, and quality logs following standard operating procedures.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to meet housekeeping and safety standards.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures, reporting incidents or hazards promptly and participating in safety briefings.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets, support continuous improvement initiatives, and troubleshoot process issues.
- Handle materials and components safely, including loading/unloading, labeling, and storage according to inventory and handling procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Associate-level experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations role; proven ability to operate production equipment.
- Technical skills: Familiarity with mechanical/electrical equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, and use of hand tools; ability to read work orders and production specifications.
- Quality focus: Strong attention to detail with experience performing visual inspections and following quality control procedures.
- Safety awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety practices and willingness to adhere to PPE and safe working procedures.
- Physical capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
- Communication: Professional working proficiency in English; clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordination.
- Work style: Reliable, punctual, able to work onsite full-time, adaptable to shift patterns, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Education: Secondary education or equivalent; relevant vocational or technical training is a plus.
