About This Job

Our client, a reputable Corporate Service Provider is looking for an ambitious Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their team, support the incorporation and ongoing administration of companies, regulatory filings, and a range of corporate services matters.

This role offers hands-on exposure to corporate administration, including maintaining statutory records, liaising with clients and authorities, and supporting the wider corporate services team. You will work closely with experienced professionals while building a strong foundation in the field.

Salary: €24,000–€32,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.

Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience will typically be considered within the €24,000–€27,000 range, while candidates with 3–4 years of relevant experience may be considered within the €27,000–€32,000 range.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the incorporation and ongoing administration of companies;
  • Prepare and maintain statutory records, registers, and corporate files;
  • Assist with regulatory and statutory filings with the relevant authorities;
  • Liaise with clients, MBR, regulatory authorities, banks, and other service providers;
  • Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely compliance;
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical records; and
  • Provide general administrative support to the corporate services team and the Firm’s lawyers.
Requirements:
  • Have at least an Advanced Level of education;
  • Ideally have 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Have a very good command of written and spoken English, and ideally Maltese;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Be organised and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
  • Ability to work within a team;
  • Preferably be familiar with document filing procedures used by the Malta Business Registry and have an understanding of the Companies Act, the applicable rules, and the process for all required filings with the Malta Business Registry.
Whilst prior experience in a similar position is required, on-the-job training will be provided to persons with the right skills and aptitude.
