Junior Internal Accountant

Our client, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Internal Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their accounting career who is eager to grow within a dynamic organization. The Junior Internal Accountant will support daily accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
• Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance department

Requirements:

• Minimum A level standard in accounts or currently pursuing ACCA (partly qualified) Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• IT knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft office, preferably with experience using accounting packages
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Prior experience in accounting department considered an asset but not a requirement
