Junior Revenue & Accounts Analyst

Our client, operating within the transportation sector, is seeking to recruit a Junior Revenue & Accounts Analyst to join their Finance team.

The primary purpose of this role is responsible for supporting the Finance team by performing revenue analysis, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounting processes, and ensuring timely preparation of financial reports. 

Salary: up to €30,000 gross per year + 10% Performance Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports.

• Analyse revenue trends and identify variances.

• Monitor electronic payment transactions, card payments, online sales and other revenue streams. 

• Reconcile revenue between operational systems and accounting systems.

• Support revenue assurance initiatives by identifying anomalies, trends and potential revenue leakages.

• Work with different departments to improve revenue reporting and data accuracy.

• Record and process journal entries accurately.

• Perform bank, revenue and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation schedules

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.

• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit.

• Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time. 

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in similar position. 

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting or a related field; or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages) with excellent proficiency in Excel.

• Written communication in English.
