Our client, a well-known commercial airline, is seeking to recruit an experienced Nominated Post Holder Continuing Airworthiness (CAM).

Our client is a European ACMI and charter airline holding an EASA Air Operator Certificate and Part-CAMO approval. The company's A320 fleet operates internationally, providing safe, reliable, and compliant services to airline customers.

We are seeking an experienced Continuing Airworthiness professional to assume the position of Nominated Post Holder Continuing Airworthiness (Continuing Airworthiness Manager – CAM). The successful candidate will report directly to the Accountable Manager and, subject to Transport Malta approval, will be responsible for ensuring the continuing airworthiness of the company's Airbus A320 fleet in accordance with Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 (Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145, and Part-21, as applicable), the approved CAME, and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Company's Nominated Post Holder Continuing Airworthiness (CAM).

  • Develop and maintain the Continuing Airworthiness policy and Approved Maintenance Programme (AMP).

  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance is planned and performed in accordance with the approved AMP and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Manage continuing airworthiness activities, maintenance forecasting and work package planning.

  • Oversee Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), modifications and repairs.

  • Maintain oversight of contracted Part-145 organisations and subcontracted CAMO activities.

  • Ensure aircraft technical records are complete, accurate and retained in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure aircraft Certificates of Airworthiness and Airworthiness Review Certificates remain valid.

  • Manage technical reliability, defect control and rectificationnprocesses.

  • Liaise with OEMs, approved maintenance organisations, CAMO subcontractors and the Competent Authority.

  • Manage the CAMO team, competency assessments and technical training requirements.

  • Support Safety Management, Compliance Monitoring, audits, investigations and Management of Change.

  • Maintain and amend the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).

  • Attend Safety Review Board (SRB), Safety Action Group (SAG) and other management meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in aircraft engineering, continuing airworthiness or maintenance planning.

  • Good knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145 and Part 21.

  • Engineering degree or Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or equivalent practical knowledge).

  • Good knowledge of Airbus A320 aircraft. Type training (minimum Level 1 / General Familiarisation) is desirable.

  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning systems and technical records.

  • Previous experience within an EASA Part-CAMO and/or Part-145 environment.

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Strong leadership, organisational and analytical skills.

  • Eligibility to live and work within the European Union.

Desirable:

  • Previous approval or nomination as a CAM/Post Holder.

  • Experience supporting ACMI or commercial A320 operations.

  • Experience liaising with Transport Malta or another EASA Competent Authority.
