About This Job
Our client, a corporate service provider is looking for a Senior Private Client & Residency Administrator to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients and residency clients, acting as the main point of contact.
- Prepare, review, and submit Income Tax Returns, VAT Returns, VAT Recapitulative Statements, Eco-Tax contributions, and other statutory filings.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements and ensure accurate financial records and bank reconciliations.
- Process and oversee client payments, including tax and VAT-related payments. Liaise with government authorities, including the Office of the Commissioner for Revenue, Identità Malta, Transport Malta, Jobsplus, and Social Security Services. Handle tax registrations, VAT registrations, Social Security registrations, and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Manage EU Residence, Single Permit, and other residency-related applications and renewals.
- Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing guidance on tax, residency, and administrative matters.
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide support and guidance where required.
- Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory developments affecting clients.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and client service standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate services, or private client administration, residency services, taxation, corporate services, or a similar role. Excellent understanding of the tax system for individuals • Excellent understanding of the Local VAT system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Maltese is considered an asset.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously and work under time-sensitive conditions to meet required deadlines.
- Professional, clear communication skills and client-centric attitude with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
